The Alberta Soccer Association is proud to announce its newest partnership with Alberta Dreams, a society established in 1986 that supports Alberta’s children facing severe chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Following the announcement of this partnership, Alberta Dreams will become Alberta Soccer’s Preferred Charity. Our Association will provide support at the different sporting events throughout the year, as well as assistance with fundraising, a critical part of Alberta Dreams’ mission of fulfilling wishes to the children they serve.

In the words of Reuel Thomas, Alberta Dreams Executive Director, “Alberta Dreams is thrilled to officially partner with Alberta Soccer as their Charity of Choice. This Memorandum of Understanding marks the beginning of an incredible collaboration, bringing the power of sport and community together to make dreams come true for children across Alberta”. He added, “This partnership is built on a shared commitment to uplifting Albertans and strengthening our communities. Alberta Soccer’s dedication to inclusivity, teamwork, and the power of sport aligns perfectly with Alberta Dreams’ mission to bring hope and joy to children facing severe medical challenges. Together, we will create meaningful opportunities to inspire, support, and serve families across the province.”

According to Lisa Grant, Alberta Soccer Executive Director, “This collaboration is not just about sports; it’s about creating lasting memories, empowering these young heroes, and showing them that their dreams are possible, no matter the challenges they face. Together, we’re committed to providing hope, joy, and a brighter future for these children, one dream at a time.”
