The Alberta Soccer Association announced today the signing of a new partnership with Mikasa Canada, which will become the official Futsal ball supplier for ASA.

The Japanese company, with offices in Boucherville, QC, will be Alberta Soccer’s official provider of Futsal balls and affiliated equipment at Futsal Provincials for 2025-2026, with the Mikasa Almundo as the approved ball to be used in those tournaments.

In the words of Lisa Grant, Alberta Soccer Executive Director, “This partnership adds a level of professionalism to our Futsal program. Mikasa Canada is a well-known sports equipment manufacturer and we are thrilled to have them on board”. Félix Dion, owner of Mikasa Canada, said “Our company is particularly proud to announce a partnership with Alberta Soccer. We are honoured to contribute to the development of Futsal, from the beginner level to high performance. We are looking forward to this collaboration and helping to grow the sport in Canada.”
